Arfa Karim was a GEM, the leading lady of Pakistan. She had a mission to educate people about her beloved country and to serve her nation. Although, Arfa has gone toward eternal life, her bright smile, determined eyes, and devotion are a legacy she left behind.

A remarkable girl to remember!

In 1994, Mr. Karim Randhawa and Samina Karim married by destiny. After a year, they were blessed with a daughter having an effulgent smile on her face and bright, big eyes! She was the first child in the Karim Randhawa clan, and they gave her the name Arfa.

Her birthplace was Lahore. But she lived her early life for 3 or 4 months in Bahawalpur, a city of kind-hearted people. As a growing child, she was a naughty and hyper girl. She always wanted to do experiments and experience situations on her own. That big brown-eyed girl was full of life. Wherever she went, she put smiles on others’ faces.

She was a committed, brilliant child with all her naughty ways but was still very disciplined. It often appeared that she was in a hurry to do everything she wanted. She always used to make her schedule for every task. When she was in grade III, she wanted to explore IT labs. She had an interest in computer software.

Magic is believing in yourself. If you can make that happen, you can make anything happen.

She was a multi-talented girl. Besides Microsoft and IT, she had a fascination for poetry. She not only read poetry but also wrote many of her own. She started writing poetry around the age of 5. She was fond of music, and her role model was Teena Sani. She listened to her poetry a lot and also practiced her singing. She was a debtor. If you want to do something in your life, you must remember that shyness is only the mind. If you think shy, you act shy. If you think confident, you act confident. Thus, never let shyness conquer your mind.
